‘ Malia è un viaggio che attraversa la poesia e la musica vissuti come inscindibile connubio nel tentativo di rappresentare una storia, un emozione, un’anima …un sogno!’

Le immagini si affastellano, si nutrono del potere evocativo delle voci potenti e melodiose degli interpreti qui riuniti in un ensemble di collaudata efficacia.

I versi ispirati dei poeti (con i quali il compositore abruzzese Francesco Paolo Tosti collaborò a lungo), si mescolano alle note struggenti di alcune tra le più belle e note romanze che siano mai state composte…

Rivalità fra cantanti e musicisti, incontri, amori, ricostruiscono il mondo musicale delle serate di allora e di ‘oggi’ nella loro sempre immutata realtà.

Una serata all’insegna della leggerezza e della raffinatezza, per un originale spettacolo di notevole qualità artistica, creato con l’intento di dare corpo alle suggestioni (di volta in volta appassionate, tristi, allegre ed esilaranti) evocate dall’ambiente e dalla situazione, ricreando, con l’esecuzione di arie da camera e romanze da salotto, valzer, canzoni napoletane d’autore e la lettura di poesie e brani letterari, quella che era la tipica atmosfera dei salotti borghesi e nobiliari dell’ottocento.

La padrona di casa riserverà a tutti voi ospiti, esecuzioni preziose in patinate sfumature d’altri tempi.

The images follow one another and develop thanks to the evocative power of the powerful and melodious voices of the performers, gathered here in an ensemble of proven effectiveness.

The verses inspired by the poets (with whom the Abruzzese composer Francesco Paolo Tosti collaborated for a long time), mix with the poignant romances of some of the most beautiful and moving notes ever composed ...

Rivalry between singers and musicians, encounters, loves, rebuild the musical world of the soirees of those and these days in their never-changing reality.

An evening of gracefulness and elegance, for an original show of remarkable artistic quality, created with the intention of giving substance to the suggestions (from time to time passionate, sad, cheerful and hilarious) evoked by the environment and by the situation, to recreate the typical atmosphere of the bourgeois and noble salons of the nineteenth century, with the execution of chamber and salon music, arias, waltzes, Neapolitan writer’s songs and the reading of poems and literary passages.

The lady of the house will reserve for all of you, guests, precious executions in graceful shades from bygone times.
