DANIJEL GAŠPAROVIĆ (Zagreb, 1988) earned his bachelor’s degree in the class of Ljubomir Gašparović and his specialist degree (piano performance) in the class of Djordje Stanetti at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. He completed his advanced studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Pécs (Hungary) under the guidance of pianist Csaba Kiraly. He is the recipient of state, international, and dean’s awards and was a scholarship holder of the City of Zagreb. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed at the Osor Musical Evenings, the Hvar Summer Festival, the Vinkovci Autumn Festival, the Fortissimo concert series in Zagreb, the Cristoforium series on historical pianos in Zagreb, the Zagreb Piano Duo Festival, the Music Palette series in Zagreb, the Nei Suoni dei Luoghi festival in Italy, the Musica Maxima festival, the May Musical Evenings in Šibenik, the Papandopuliana festival in Tribunj, the Ohrid Summer Festival and Autumn Musical Evenings in Macedonia, the cycle of 32 Beethoven sonatas in Zagreb, the Chopin Piano Fest in Prishtina, concerts in Ljubljana, the Dubrovnik and Lošinj festivals, and many others.

As a performer and organizer, he has participated in projects such as “7in7for70,” dedicated to the life and work of the famous Croatian composer Dubravko Detoni, the integral performances of Debussy’s complete Preludes, the concert celebrating twenty years of the Zagreb Boys’ Choir at the Mimara Museum, the absolute first performance of all 32 Beethoven sonatas in chronological order in Croatia, and others. He also plays an active role in the Croatian Writers’ Society and at the opening of the Croatian Literary Evenings, and in many other projects. He also participated in the organization of a piano instrument exhibition called “The Ten Pianos” at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in 2012, performing works by Schubert and Saint-Saëns. From 2009 to 2014, he participated in the organization and direction of the concert series of students at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. He is actively involved in organizational and production work, collaborating on joint projects with the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, HRT, the Croatian Society of Musicians, the City of Zagreb, the Austrian Cultural Forum, numerous embassies, and other partners. He has collaborated with eminent orchestras and conductors such as the Zagreb Youth Orchestra under the baton of Zlatan Srzić, the Zagreb Soloists led by Rober Lehrbaumera, and others. Together with his father, Ljubomir, he is the owner of the largest and most valuable private collection of historical pianos in Croatia, titled the “Danijel and Ljubomir Gašparović’s Piano Collection.”

ANNA-MARIE GAŠPAROVIĆ completed her high school studies at the Vatroslav Lisinski School of Music in Zagreb and obtained a Master’s degree in piano performance and piano pedagogy at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, in the class of Prof. Jakša Zlatar. She has won numerous prizes in national and international piano competitions, such as the Zlatko Grgošević Competition, the Mira Sakač Competition, and many others. She has participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists and professors, including Ruben Dalibaltayan, Eugen Indjic, Robert Andres, Jerome Rose, Roberto Turrin, Konstantin Bogino, Djordje Stanetti, and others. She has given numerous concerts as a soloist and chamber musician in Croatia and abroad and currently works as a teacher and accompanist at the Elly Bašić High School of Music in Zagreb.
